Biography

I am a researcher in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with interests in Cross-Modal Information Retrieval. I like working on applications in areas of Cultural Heritage and Digital Arts.

I obtained my PhD from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2013, while working as a research assistant at the Idiap Research Institute. Since 2013, I have been working with the Viper group at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. During 2014 and 2015 I visited the National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico, working in the Tepalcatl project funded by the Swiss-NSF. I have served as part of technical committee and program committee for several international journals and conferences.
